Temporary Residence Permit

1. Duration: The permit is initially granted for a period that can vary between 1 and 5 years, depending on the case.
2. Renewal: It is possible to apply for renewal of this permit, provided that the conditions under which it was granted are met.
3. Variations of Leave: There are different types of temporary leave, adapted to different situations:

               .-Non-profit Temporary Residence: For those who will not work in Spain and have their own financial means.

               .-Temporary Residence for Family Reunification: Allows foreign residents to bring certain family members to live with them in Spain.

               .-Temporary Residence with Work Authorisation Exception: Aimed at those who have a job offer in Spain or wish to be self-employed.

               .-Temporary Residence for Exceptional Circumstances: Includes cases such as international protection, humanitarian reasons, or collaboration with Spanish authorities.

               .-Residence due to social roots: Social roots are granted to foreigners who reside in Spain and have family or work ties or are socially integrated.

               .-Residence due to family roots: this is a temporary residence permit for exceptional circumstances that may be granted to foreign citizens who are in Spain and are either the father or mother of a minor of Spanish nationality, or the children of a father or mother who were originally Spanish.
